Andalusian music : Ladino music

A radio program from Radio Tel Aviv hosted by Sabine Amsellem

MUSIQUES ANDALOUSES – October 22 and November 12, 2015, Radio TAF (102 FM)

Sabine Amsellem takes us on a journey on the tracks of Andalusian music of the communities of today’s Bosnia and Herzegovina. Since 1492, expelled Jews from Spain found refuge in this corner of the Balkans, and continued their musical traditions in which the voice has a major place.

Sabine Amsellem taught piano as well as music theory and culture at the Paris conservatory. She then settled in Israel where she became producer of the radio programs “Andalusian Music” and “Music Forever” on Radio TAF in Tel Aviv.
