Balagan Box – November 11, 2006, Radio Shalom (94,8)
Laurence Haziza invites two figures of modern Jewish music. David Krakauer, famous clarinet player known to have mixed klezmer music and jazz, and Socalled, canadian singer, musician, and DJ.
The two artists talk about the CD they did together, Bubbemeises: Lies My Gramma Told Me , published by Label Bleu in 2005, and of their collaboration on stage, with the Abraham Inc project, musical formation of Klezmer and Funk-Groove in which plays also the former trombone of James Brown, Fred Wesley.
Laurence Haziza is a journalist, press agent and artistic director of the festival Jazz’n’klezmer. Every saturday evenings from 2006 to 2013, she hosted on radio Shalom the show Balagan Box, called later Balagan Musi.
