On the occasion of Yom Kippur, Hélène Engel makes us hear several versions of “Avinu Malkenu” (our Father, our King).
It is a particular prayer of the 10 days of penance between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, it is recited two times each day after the Amida.

She is interested in all aspects of Jewish music, from the collecting of historical sounds to today’s compositions. Based in Montreal, she hosts the radio show ” The hidden sides of Jewish Music” on Radio SHALOM Montreal.
