Jewish Songs

Trio Pierre-Luc Bensoussan, Pierre Diaz and Patrice Soletti

1st CD FROM THE DISCOVERY COLLECTION

Awarded by Citizen Jazz and 4 étoiles Jazz Magazine

First CD from the “Discovery” collection, Jewish Songs brings us Jewish music from the 21st century.

Seven traditional and contemporary melodies, played like instrumental modern jazz, expressing the emotion of exile, but also the happy moments of the Jewish communities of long ago.

Following the style of the New-York musician/composer John Zorn, creator of the “Radical Jewish Culture” movement, Pierre Diaz, saxophonist, Patrice Soletti, guitarist, and Pierre-Luc Bensoussan, drummer, take us on a poetic journey traveling in the footsteps of Sephardic and Eastern European Jews.
