Leibu Levin (1914, Kimpelung – 1983, Hertzliya) was an actor, singer and composer. A great part of his work was written in Yiddish.

In this big book featuring 49 songs of Yiddish poetry, Ruth Levin presents to the public the best creations of her father Leibu Levin, actor and composer born in Kimpelung, nicknamed “the Jewish Schubert”. This anthology features the major part of Leibu Levin’s work.
