Hélène Engel presents the works of David Amram.

David Amram is an American composer, musician and author. He collaborated with with many artists in the musical and movie world, such as : Willie Nelson, Charles Mingus, Leonard Bernstein, Jack Kerouac, Langston Hughes, Dizzy Gillespie, Dustin Hoffman, Thelonious Monk, Odetta, Lionel Hampton, Ron Whitehead etc.

Hélène Engel is a singer, musicologist, author, composer and arranger. She is interested in all aspects of Jewish music, from the collecting of historical sounds to today’s compositions. Based in Montreal, she hosts the radio show " The hidden sides of Jewish Music" on Radio SHALOM Montreal.
