10€ – 160€Workshops and concerts in Paris with ADRIANNE GREENBAUM
Join us for a special Klezmer and Baroque flute Weekend: Workshops and concerts in Paris with legendary flautist, recording artist and klezmer composer ADRIANNE GREENBAUM, celebrating her 50th professional anniversary with a Klezmer and Baroque Weekend in Paris, France, from June 30th to July 2nd!
As the foremost pioneering purveyor of the klezmer flute, she will kick off the festivities with a mini-concert of soulful and upbeat klezmer dance and rarely-heard gypsy baroque tunes. This is your chance to experience the music firsthand and get a taste of what’s to come in the weekend’s workshops, including a little dancing!
Participants will receive PDFs of the repertoire ahead of time to come prepared to play. All repertoire will be chosen for playability and to share with performing partners or students. The workshop is open to adults of intermediate to advanced level and will also benefit professionals wanting to broaden their musical sources.
The fee for the entire weekend, including the Friday night concert, all-day workshops on Saturday and Sunday (with a lunch break), and a participant mini-concert at the end, is 160 €.
Early Bird registration before April 20th is just 135 €.
Auditors/listeners can join us for just 80 € for the weekend (no early bird). The Friday evening concert alone is just 10 Euros and is open to the public.
Don’t miss out on this rare opportunity to learn from this celebrated scholar and performer of these traditions and immerse yourself in the rich tradition of klezmer flute music and the baroque. Register now and join us in Paris for a weekend you won’t forget!
